Our community consists of 24 town-home units on one street in Orem, Utah. Because we are small we spend the dues we collect mostly on landscaping and the road. We envision a neighborhood that is well maintained, comfortable, and welcoming to our residents.
Established in 2000, this community has been our home for more than two decades. Some have come and gone, but we do have original residents such as Burt and Lu Knudson, who are still with us. Burt served as president of the HOA and has donated countless hours in labor, trimming trees, killing weeds, and taking care of the grounds in many other ways.
Our most recognizable resident is LaDell Gillman, who often walks the grounds in a wide-brim hat taking care of sprinkler systems and watching for problems. When he sees a problem he will likely fix it himself if he can. He is not an employee; he just has the community spirit. If you're driving up or down the street and you see someone walking toward your car with an arm raised, just stop. LaDell wants to chat. He knows everyone and loves everyone.
